gauge ASTM A-607 grade 50 sheet metal with 2" square tubing long member
supports and 4x2x1/4 tubing rear cross member. |

Sub Structure & Floor Sub
Structure 6x3x3/16 tubing long member welds to 4x2x1/4 tubing for slope floor
and hopper. Cross members are
4" channel. Rear floor 10
gauge AR-225 sheet metal. Slope
floor is 1/4" AR-500 plate. |

Tailgate Hydraulic
bustle type 2.9 cubic yard capacity with self-locking feature. Solid rubber gasket bolted on across
floor and 24" up each side.
Two roof-mounted hinges use 1-1/2" diameter pins. |

Hopper Sides and
floor of hopper formed form one piece of 3/8 ASTM A-514 grade B
"T-1" plate with 11/2" ID radius in corners. Hopper is also formed with hump down
the middle of the floor to accommodate the truck's driveline for lowest
possible "pitch-in" height. |

Packer A 3/8"
ASTM A514 Grade B "T1" steel assembly pushed by 2 4" or
4-1/2" bore cylinders with 2 1/2" chrome rods an a 42"
stroke. The cylinders are mounted
"in line" for long service and no wearing of packer pins and
bushings. |

Clean-Out Doors One 7x12
gasketed latched doors on each side of hopper. Clean out tool provided. |

Crusher Panel A hydraulic crusher panel is provided to contain the refuse while it is being packed into the body. |

Pump Tandem pump for two-speed operation. Both sections combine automatically in neutral for 48 GPM @ 1400 RPM. One section "kicks out" in drive for packing on the move. |

Reservoir 50-gallon
steel mounted to truck frame with suction strainer, sight glass/thermometer,
filler strainer and magnetic plug. |

Controls Guarded
start button and emergency stop/retract. One set in cab and one on either
side of hopper. Buttons hook to control box with packer cycle relay
inside. Other body functions use
air toggle valves. |

over hydraulic pressure set at 2250 PSI with integral relief cartridge. Tailgate and hoist have safety load
